Had a cozy stay at this charming guest house! Callum was super helpful, especially with late-night bags, and the breakfast options were excellent. Only hiccup was parking across the street, but overall, a good experience!

would recommend and would definitely come back. the hotel is on a quiet location close enough to nearby taxi's pubs as well as garden. moreover, take a look at cliffe high street, set a 10-15 minute walking distance from the venue.

The self-catering breakfast setup was excellent, allowing guests to pick from a variety of options, including a well-stocked kitchen for a DIY English breakfast.
The noise from passing traffic was quite noticeable at night, which could be bothersome for light sleepers, especially with the windows open during warm evenings.

Chill vibes and cozy stay!
Such a unique place! The decor had so much charm, and I loved the self-service breakfast-great options! The owner was super friendly. Just a heads-up, the parking across the street was a bit annoying, and the road noise might not be great for light sleepers.

A rustic guest house with character, with a comfortable bed and a lovely ensuite bathroom. The self-catering breakfast setup was excellent, allowing guests to fully utilize a well-stocked kitchen, including options for a full English breakfast. The owner's proactive and friendly nature enhances the experience. Keep in mind the occasional road noise that may be a concern for sensitive sleepers, and the hotel's historic charm might not suit those seeking modern luxury.

The family room offered a spacious layout with comfortable beds, made for a cozy night's sleep, perfect for a brief getaway. The garden provided a nice vibe to unwind, even if it felt a bit of a trek from the accommodations.
Unfortunately, the hotel had a strong lingering smell of old cigarettes, especially in the communal areas, unpleasant. Being right on the main road brought in a fair share of traffic noise at night. I had to keep windows open on a warm evening, which didn't help. The place seemed like a work in progress, with tools scattered around and some grubby surfaces that could use thorough cleaning.
